During Respect Life month, we pray that we may show by our words and actions that every human life is cherished and chosen – even those on death row. As Pope Francis has recently written “the dignity of the person is not lost even after the commission of very serious crimes.”
To help keep the death penalty part of the conversation during Respect Life month, Pax Christi Alabama has made available these USCCB pamphlets on the Church’s teaching on death penalty at many of the Birmingham-area parishes.
